We are using the break to write more music, rehearse and promote the work we will be doing September onwards. Please don’t go away as we will be back! We have had a slow start due to Steve and Mitch being unwell but they are on the mend. Our Joytown Gypsies persona rocked the Roath Park Hotel on Friday 24th Feb. Thanks to all who came!

This year saw Funhouse fully expand into the BIG SLOUCH COLLECTIVE and we said goodbye to a few former stalwarts as they moved on to other bands. Because we play original music, venues either expect us to play for free or tell us that they now only book covers bands or tribute bands. Sod that!

We believe in ORIGINAL music and as all of us write so much music in so many styles, we have created the Goodfellas (Jazz), The Bon Viveurs (contemporary), the Joytown Gypsies (cajun and world musics) as well as the ONLY original SKA band in Wales – the mighty FUNHOUSE!!!
